Publisher's description
If you waste time navigating the Windows file system in search of the files you want, then there's a simple solution. TaskTracker takes Windows Explorer and turns it inside out; your files are right where you need them all the time. TaskTracker automatically tracks all kinds of file types that are registered on your system - including Office documents; multiple image formats; and many, many other document types you work with on a daily basis. The longer you use TaskTracker, the more files it tracks, and the more useful it becomes as the single point of access for all your document-centered Windows work.
In version 1.1.106, multiple selected files can now be added and removed from Virtual Folders at once.
Editor's review of TaskTracker This utility is not your usual file launcher. In other programs of this kind, you need to add and update shortcuts to the most frequently used files and folders yourself. Meanwhile, TaskTracker takes the chore of monitoring which files and folders you use. Unlike the Windows Recent Files feature, TaskTracker stores as many shortcuts to documents as you like and sorts them by type, such as Word documents, PDFs, or MP3s. The program's handy Virtual Folder feature allows you to categorize files according to any parameters you'd prefer. The interface is quite handy: you can simply drag and drop a file or a folder to include them in the list. However, we wish it were more compact. If you're in need of a file launcher, TaskTracker deserves a closer look than other utilities of this kind.
