This comprehensive wine-management application offers several features to track inventory and more, but it requires some getting used to. WineBanq's busy yet well-designed interface is divided into Home, Wine Cellar, Tasting Notes, and Events.

Home offers shortcuts for tasks like adding wines and printing reports and also displays the publisher's Web page. Adding wines to the Wine Cellar is easy and the program gathers a wealth of details including region, variety, value, and ratings. Tasting Notes allows you to download and view reviews, and we especially like the option to add these wines to your cellar, complete with ratings and notes. The Events section offers a calendar to track wine events, and with registration, you can download events from the publisher's site.

Multiple reports are offered and you can import and export in several formats. The trial version limits you to 30 wines. This application has a lot to offer the serious wine collector, but requires an intermediate level of computer knowledge to comfortably use it.
