Publisher's description

Wine Library is a wine cellar management program designed to help you manage and value your wine collections. It's not only an essential tool for wine collectors, but also a great tool for wine enthusiasts. It lets you create a catalog of your wine collection or the wines you've tasted with an Access database. You can record much useful information, such as countries, regions, types, varieties, purchase info, stock info, and detailed drinking/tasting notes. Wine library's user-friendly explorer-style interface allows you to group/sort wines as folders in any combination. Wine details are displayed in a customizable HTML format with a build-in IE window. Besides a powerful search function, Wine Library supports SQL; you can select and manipulate data with this powerful tool. The report feature allows you to print wine detail reports, create and print wine list reports and export them as HTML's and ASCII's. It can also download wine info and tasting notes from supported Web sites.

Version 1.1 build 98 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Editor's review of Wine Library This database application allows wine collectors to catalog and manage inventories. Wine Library has a fairly standard, functional interface with buttons to add, edit, and search for entries. Adding wines is easy and captures detailed information, from country and region of origin to descriptions of the wine's appearance, taste, and cost. Wine Library offers a wide array of choices for wine details, and an easy way to add your own. The options to add notes and an image of the label also are nice touches. Reports can sort inventory multiple ways, including by region, vintage, and value. The program supports SQL query for more efficient data management and lets you browse related Web sites to download information. The trial version is limited to 50 entries, but that's enough time to get a good feel for the program's capabilities. Any wine enthusiast looking for a comprehensive yet accessible inventory system will appreciate what Wine Library has to offer.
