Preloaded with 10 relaxing nature themes, Spirit of Forest is designed to lull you into a state of tranquility through background sounds and slides. Its compact, skinnable interface lets you generate your own playlist and run it as long as you like. You'll hear calming sounds like ocean waves and pouring rain. The program also displays a slide show of beautiful nature scenes, but the pictures are shown in a small nonresizable window.

We would have liked a few more sound options and sceneries, and a larger viewing window. Its 17MB size isn't a great selling point, but Spirit of Forest could be a useful tool to help anyone unwind, especially since it doesn't cost anything.
