KouChat is a simple chat application which does not require any configuration or server to use. With KouChat it's possible to see other users on the network, send files, send messages to the main chat which all users can see, or to a single user. New messages will be notified by an icon in the system tray, and optionally by a sound. Version 0.9.8 includes new faq and license to the help menu, auto completion for nick names and commands, and improved error messages.
