Publisher's description

This freeware is the perfect program for all computer users that spend several hours in front of the computer without breaks or pauses. It is also incredibly useful if you want to monitor how much time you spend in front of the computer. Userhealth measures how long time you use computer everyday. UserHealth will provide you with regular health, pause, and go to bed messages. It can also turn of the computer on an given time.

Version 1.3.5 adds keystrokes counter, mouse clicks counter, and Computer Uptime timer.

Editor's review of UserHealth

This freeware program keeps track of your time at the computer to prompt breaks, taking the passive-aggressive approach in doing so. UserHealth tells you how long you've been using your PC and how many keystrokes you've made, and it plots a graph of mouse clicks. Its primary purpose is to provide alerts with sound and/or a text message at user-specified intervals to urge users to take much-needed time away from the computer.

You can choose 30-, 45- or 60-minute intervals, or the Other option lets you input a different interval. You can opt to receive three types of notifications: general health advice, break reminders, and "Go to bed" messages. You can even schedule shutdown operations.

Interestingly, UserHealth displays a nag screen at break times that won't go away until your defined break time interval has lapsed. Although it doesn't give physical exercises to do at your desk, computer users and persons with repetitive stress injury might appreciate UserHealth and the breaks it freely provides.
