AX-ZIP Archiver's two-panel interface displays archives and their contents in a standard Windows Explorer-style tree. Helpfully, AX-ZIP Archiver automatically displays the content of archives while browsing through the folder panel. The separate archive and file panels make it a snap for users to drag and drop files to create or extract archives. Users also can easily drag and drop files from other applications to create archives. AX-ZIP Archiver is primarily aimed at the common ZIP algorithm, but also handles RAR files. AX-ZIP Archiver isn't perfect, as it lacks a method to password-protect archives and does not integrate its functions into the context menu.
