Publisher's description

Remove is a powerful utility for uninstalling programs you no longer want on your computer. You can easily get rid of unnecessary applications, partially uninstalled software, and unwanted Windows components. You are able to uninstall programs that cannot be uninstalled through Add/Remove Programs. In addition to the standard uninstall option, Remove allows you to remove, modify, backup, and restore your Add/Remove Programs list entries. Removing invalid entries is easier than ever. It also lets you copy application names, uninstaller locations, and version numbers to the Windows Clipboard. In fact, Remove is more powerful than other uninstallers and Add/Remove Programs list cleaners. Remove can uninstall and remove more software and invalid entries because of its advanced features, such as uninstalling and deleting hidden programs and entries. Version 4 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
Editor's review of Remove This bare-bones utility is not for beginners but does a good job of removing software. The interface is extremely simple, with a list of installed programs on the right side and paths to their locations on the left. The second tab lists items you can restore. The accompanying read-me file tells you how to uninstall, recover, and modify programs in the list. The lack of a more intuitive interface and the ability to delete hidden files make this program dangerous for neophytes, and we recommend they try another uninstall utility. To its credit, Remove competently deletes all components of a selected program quickly and efficiently and can identify applications that have been surreptitiously installed on your hard drive. However, given its interface issues, we can only recommend it to people who are very comfortable getting under the hoods of their computers.
