Publisher's description

With Ani.cur.ico Editor you can: create and edit animate cursors with image formats in standard and custom sizes; create and edit icons for Windows XP in 32-bit color depth with 8-bit alpha channel; create and edit icons and cursors with image formats in standard and custom sizes, and in color depths up to 24-bit; extract/replace EXE-DLL icons; convert pictures to icons; import .ICO, .BMP, .JPEG images into icons; export icon images to .ICO, .BMP, .JPG files; extract icons from Windows executables and libraries; modify images with rotate, roll, mirror, transparent effects.
Editor's review of Ani.cur.ico Editor A real case of a split personality, Ani.cur.ico Editor consists of two programs for creating cursors and icons. The first is a static icon/cursor editor with an adequate toolset, including a channel mixer. It also can extract icons from EXE and DLL files--a minor task it executes well. On the other hand, importing images requires you to convert the image to an ICO file and open it for editing, a process that requires several clicks. However, the real offender is the second program, a practically unusable animated-cursor editor that can only import CUR and ICO files, which you first have to create (or convert, as mentioned above) in the static icon/cursor editor. You might get by with Ani.cur.ico Editor if you just need to extract icons from EXE files, but we wouldn't suggest it to serious designers.
