Popup Free installs as an Internet Explorer module and doesn't consume much memory. In our testing, it killed all intruders. If the program kills a pop-up you want, just move it from the Blocked Windows list to the Allowed list.

In spite of its impressive performance, we find the 14-day trial period a bit too short, particularly when you consider most free Web browsers now feature pop-up protection. Nevertheless, we'd recommend the small, strong Popup Free to those plagued with pop-ups, but concerned about disk space.
