The program did well in creating backups of files, folders, registry keys, My Documents, and Internet Explorer bookmarks, which can be stored in a local disk, on a network, FTP server, or CD/DVD. AlmerBackup Pro synchronizes files, performs full and incremental backups, and can compress, encrypt, or password-protect archives. What's more, you may use filters to include or exclude files by type, size, or attributes.

You may schedule the program to run at specified intervals, or run it as a Windows service. It also includes an easy-to-follow Restore wizard. However, unlike the competition, it doesn't offer Windows integration or drag-and-drop capability.
