Publisher's description

Plangarden vegetable gardening design software is the perfect gardening companion for assisting in planning and recording your vegetable garden. Easy to use software allows you to create your garden space, and then drag and drop the vegetables that you want to plant on the map of your garden. The software also includes a harvest recorder and daily log for tracking your gardening progress.
Editor's review of Vegetable Garden Design

This software puts organizational rather than planting tools into gardeners' hands, but its response time can be slow going. Vegetable Garden Design runs without system installation, though you'll have to register your name and e-mail address to access the 45-day trial.

Its tabbed, clear-cut UI provides navigational ease among its sections for creating garden plots, managing vegetables, and tracking planting activities. Forty-five plants are preloaded, with offerings from A (artichokes) to Z (zucchinis). You can input plant information such as variety, number of plants, and date planted. Adding and monitoring harvest and gardening activities--including estimated harvest date, yield quantity, soil work, and pest control--is relatively hassle-free. Moreover, you can print and save plots and logs.

The program's lengthy response time will bother users, but it's the primary flaw of this helpful app. Vegetable Garden Design makes it easy enough for any gardening enthusiasts to manage crop inventory and planting activities.
