Editor's review of StampManage This humongous, comprehensive stamp-collection-database application packs a punch, but oddly lacks useful features. StampManage has an advanced but well-organized interface that novices may find intimidating.

Select the Values tab to find this application's treasure; it comes preloaded with numerous database entries from several countries from 2001 and 2003 through 2007. You'll find detailed information including the industry's Scott Numbering System, description, condition, value, and purchase information, along with an image when available. Although, it's quite easy to add your own images and entries, you may be overwhelmed by all the options.

The program comes with nice printing options to produce standard reports, labels, and file cards. However, you won't be overly impressed with its search feature. Additionally, it's not capable of printing stamp images and only provides a limited number of images in this trial version. Despite its gargantuan file size (48 MB) and its flaws, serious philatelists will be impressed with StampManage.
