Editor's review of Internet Cleaning Tool Every privacy-protection feature you need On virtually all fronts, Internet Cleaning Tool strikes us as a fine program for protecting your privacy. Icons for all major functions line the top of the nicely designed interface, making it immediately clear how to get started. The application can wipe away your surfing history from Internet Explorer, AOL, Opera, and Netscape and can clean out a large portion of Windows' system areas, including the Recent Documents list and Recycle Bin. Internet Cleaning Tool supports a huge number of third-party apps, from Ad-Aware to ZoneAlarm. The file shredder lets you choose from four secure wiping methods, and cleaning sessions can be scheduled or initiated with a hot key. You also can keep your hard drives in good shape by using the tool for wiping free space. If we had to voice a complaint with this program, it would be with the two-week trial period, which isn't optimal in our book. Internet Cleaning Tool's name might not be inspired, but everything else about it certainly is.
